This route covers a distance of approximately 188.15 km and includes a total of 14 sites. The theme of the journey on the Northern Route is ‘Following the Wind’s Sound Towards the Wonders of the Dayak Meratus,’ signifying following the direction where the leaves sway in the breeze. At Oranje Nassau, the wind penetrates into long-abandoned coal tunnels. It shrieks when it catches the Flying Kite Pot. The sound of the wind continues to accompany us on the journey, heading towards the steadfast Dayak Meratus village that holds onto traditions, the Balai Adat Malaris, and Bamboo Rafts. Tanuhi Hot Springs, Kilat Api Waterfall become markers of the Earth’s history. The same goes for Bukit Langara, where the wind’s sound grows louder.
