Kilat Api Waterfall

Kilat Api Waterfall is in Hulu Banyu Village, Loksado District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. It is 2 km from Kanwatan Hill Scenic View, about 2 km or 30 km from Kandangan City, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, by motorcycle or car. The Location in the Meratus Mountains composed of rocks are the products of volcanic activity at the age of 95-65 million years ago (Cretaceous), during which period volcanism activity in the Meratus Mountains Region took place quite intense consisting of rocks such as granite which is part of the Batanglai/ Belawaian Granite Formation from 95-135 million years ago (Late Cretaceous). This waterfall has not too steep slope (medium grade) about 15 meters and consists of various levels, resulting in a beautiful bend of water resembling a bend of fire, so that the local community is called Kilat Api Waterfall.
