Bamboo Rafting is in Lok Lahung Village, Loksado District, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. It is 2 km from the Malaris Long House or 37 km from Kandangan City, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, by motorcycle or car. This rafting using bamboo rafts is carried out by going along the Amandit River around 14 km or about 2-3 hours. Along the way, you can find a variety of earth events (geology) such as rocks of the metamorphic Group aged 108-182 million years ago (Middle Jurassic) and rocks from volcanic activity, named the Batanglai/Belawaian Granite Group aged 96- 135 million years ago Late Cretaceous). In addition, you can find a variety of plants of Tropical Rain Forests, farming activities/plantations of the Meratus Dayak Tribe, bamboo trees (as material for making rafts). Bamboo in this area can grow to the max because they live on the weathering rock products of volcanic activity. The activity of bamboo rafting was formerly a means of water transportation commonly used by Dayak Meratus people to bring forest and farm products to be sold to the city down the Amandit River.
