Wasaka Museum
Wasaka Museum is a museum of South Kalimantan people’s struggle history. Wasaka Museum stands for Waja Sampai Kaputing which is the struggle motto people of South Kalimantan.
The Wasaka Museum holds many historic objects that are silent witnesses the struggle people of South Kalimantan against the Dutch colonialism.
Wasaka Museum was inaugurated on November 10, 1991, located in Banjar Bubungan Tinggi house which was then converted from a residential building into a museum.
The Wasaka Museum is located in Gang H. Andir, Kenanga Ulu Village, Sungai Jingah Sub-District, North Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City.
The museum is located on the banks of the Martapura river, next to the large, long, and sturdy 17 May Bridge (Banua Anyar Bridge).
