Wasaka Museum

  • Wasaka Museum is a museum of South Kalimantan people’s struggle history. Wasaka Museum stands for Waja Sampai Kaputing which is the struggle motto people of South Kalimantan.

  • The Wasaka Museum holds many historic objects that are silent witnesses the struggle people of South Kalimantan against the Dutch colonialism.

  • Wasaka Museum was inaugurated on November 10, 1991, located in Banjar Bubungan Tinggi house which was then converted from a residential building into a museum.

  • The Wasaka Museum is located in Gang H. Andir, Kenanga Ulu Village, Sungai Jingah Sub-District, North Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City.

  • The museum is located on the banks of the Martapura river, next to the large, long, and sturdy 17 May Bridge (Banua Anyar Bridge).
