The Tale of Suryanata Prince Monument is in Kiram Village, Karang Intan District, Banjar Regency. It is 4 km away from the Kiram Bamboo Mosque by motorcycle and car. This location composed of Pyroxenite Rocks which are part of the Ultramafic Rock Group aged 180-152 million years ago (Middle Jurassic). There is a hill which the local community calls Pamaton or Pamatuan Hill, which is a historical place and considered sacred to the Banjarese. Because it is believed to be the entrance to the supernatural world which named the Gateway to the Kingdom of Pamaton (Supernatural Kingdom) which is ruled by Maharaja Suryanata and Princess Junjung Buih. Pamaton Hill was mentioned as a boundary marker for the Banjar Sultanate and Dutch territory in the contract agreement dated May 4, 1826, and this location was also used as a base for opposition, a stronghold of resistance and a place of battle against the Dutch colonialists. So that in the month of Muharram 1433 H or around 2011 AD, the Viceroy Khairul Saleh made an inscription as a tool of information for visitors.
