The Floating Lok Baintan is in Lok Baintan Village, Sungai Tabuk District, Banjar Regency. This place can be reached in an hour from Banjarbaru City, then proceed by using an engine boat or what by the local calls “Klotok”. Floating Market Lok Baintan located on the Martapura River which is a tributary of the Barito River, where the formation of the river was an earth event (geology) that is influenced by the results of the lifting process of the Meratus Mountains in 5-1 million years ago (PlioPleistocene). The river culture that is typical of the Banjar people, in the form of trading on “a jukung” (a typical Banjarese boat) and women dominated sellers called “acil” in the Banjar language, which means aunt. There are various typical Banjar foods (“Soto Banjar”, “Mie Habang”, etc.), plantation products (various fruits and vegetables), and souvenirs (clothes, miniature jukung, etc.).
