Banjar Traditional Houses are in Sungai Mufti Sub-District, Banjarmasin Utara District, Banjarmasin City. It is 2 km from the Floating Gallery by boat engine or called by the local community as “Klotok”. At this location, visitors will see a typical Banjarese traditional house that is floating over the river. The successive arrangement of lanting houses amazed visitors and was included in the news of the Ming Dynasty in China at 1618 which said that in Banjarmasin there were houses on rafts like those in Palembang. The architecture of Lanting House has been designated as an Intangible Heritage by the Ministry of Education and Culture since 2019.
